Dugan Tool & Die was founded in 1977 by Charles Dugan with a simple idea: deliver quality work and treat customers right.
Customers came to rely on the precision of the work, the commitment to service and the belief that long-term relationships matter.
That approach became the foundation of the company.
In 2010, Charles passed the torch to Mark Willmore, who had joined Dugan in 1989 as a mechanical engineer and design
draftsman. Under Mark and the Dugan team, the company continued investing in advanced manufacturing technology while expanding its range of machining, fabrication and repair capabilities.
Today, Dugan operates from a 30,000+ square-foot facility in East Alton, Illinois. The technology has changed dramatically since 1977. The expectation has not: understand the job, communicate clearly, do the work right and stand behind it.

A press rebuild demonstrates the value of having multiple processes available under one roof. Large components, worn surfaces,
alignment, fabrication and final machining all have to work together when the equipment goes back into service.

Valve and flow-control components depend on fits, sealing surfaces, shafts, bores and mating features that must work together.
This type of repair gives Dugan a strong proof point for machining, grinding, reverse engineering and repair work.

Dugan's public project portfolio includes pharmaceutical centrifuge fabrication and repair and mixer-shaft fabrication and repair.
These projects demonstrate the shop's ability to work with specialized industrial equipment where material, fit and function matter.

Our sister company Extreme Force Valve provides pressure relief valve repair, testing and maintenance services. Extreme is National Board “VR” Certified to repair and test Section I & VIII steam, liquid air/gas and section I steam valves. To visit their website, click HERE.
